Eisley Jacobs is giving away a “Nook” to one lucky blog reader/contest participant. Check out Monday’s post and see how you can win this great prize. What in the heck is a Nook? I guess I’ll find out Monday.

This busy mother of three young children, who is writing YA and MG and inspiring children to read, would love your support and encouragement. Join us Monday and enter the drawing. But we'll all be winners just to know this fabulous woman.

Also... add to our list... it's a work in process.

Enjoy the Journey!

~ Karlene

  1. Karlene, this is a wonderful idea. You could establish a whole registry of resident expertise! Cool.

  2. Thanks Linda! And you're on the top of the list. Thanks so much for your support!

  3. Can I be added as an editor, please? :)

  4. This is so fun! Thanks for compiling this great list :D

  5. What a fantastic idea Karlene! To mine you can add freelance editor recommendations, martial artist, horse enthusiast, knowlegable and experienced about/with queries, agents, workshops, and conferences. Ask away, I'm always willing to help!

  6. Thanks for the great list!

*waves to Karlene Petit* Glad to see no helicopters on that list! (As you know, helicopters don't fly; the Earth repels them. LOL).

*waves to Julie* I grew up in So. Cal, but haven't lived there in a long time! I should have consulted with you for my latest MC, who speaks skater slang. :)

  7. Hi, Karlene.... This is GREAT!

I would LOVE to be added to the list. Just let me know what I need to do.

    Have a great weekend.

  8. Thank you everyone! Heather and Christine... you're being updated!

And Michael, all I need is your experience you'd be willing to share should an aspiring author needs help.

    GREAT support! You're all awesome!

  9. Wow. This is awesome!!!!!!!

  10. Wow, this is an awesome idea. I'll email you with my specifics. They've already helped out another YA writer.

  11. I would love to be added to the list. Let's see... I'm an editor, have a BS in chemistry with a forensic science background. Have two young kids and another on the way. Um... I know a fair amount about the Middle Ages. Planned my wedding - Renaissance-themed. That's about all I can think of that might be useful to someone.
