This is a Country where we can share experiences, be the first to read the potential next best seller, or learn about the publishing industry, together.
Book Country is a subsidiary of the Penguin group, and has made quite a splash in the media this week. Read what others have to say then check out the site, and you be the judge.
Yes, this site is very well credentialed, but what about "security" while posting your work for the world to see? They have disabled the edit/copy function, but will that enough? Not sure.

I've joined too, Karlene. It looks intriguing, and potentially like a fabulous interactive site for writers to not only hone craft, but get recognized. Jury's still out on the important question you raised, though.
